My Story

Seven years into my nursing career, I was done and burned out. Ready to walk away from it all. Sound familiar?

I loved being a nurse, but the long shifts, physical demands, and emotional toll had me searching job boards for literally anything other than nursing. I felt guilty for wanting to leave, but I also couldn't imagine spending another decade at the bedside.

Then I discovered case management, and everything changed. Not just because I found a role that gave me better balance (though that was amazing!), but because it opened my eyes to the countless ways we can use our nursing expertise beyond traditional patient care.

Why I Created Scrubs to Pivot

That eye-opening experience lit a fire in me. I spent months researching and uncovering all the different paths available to nurses. The more I discovered, the more I realized: that so many nurses are considering leaving the profession simply because they don't know these opportunities exist.
